Meet Chantal Mathurin M.S. CCC-SLP, the owner and sole speech language pathologist of Verbl. Chantal has over eight years of experience, speaks Haitian Creole fluently and holds multiple state licenses. She is dedicated to helping clients communicate effectively, building strong relationships, and providing client’s with ultimate support throughout their time with Verbl.
FAQs
Evaluations
Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) evaluate individuals using formal or informal assessments lasting between 30 to 90 minutes to determine communication strengths and weaknesses. Based on the results, SLPs create a customized therapy plan to help you meet your communication goals.
Sessions
After completing an evaluation, sessions can be scheduled for 30, 45, or 60 minutes, occurring 1-3 times per week, biweekly, or monthly.
Payments
Verbl services are private pay only. Private pay services offer specialized care and attention with greater flexibility, personalization, and discretion. That being said, insurance is not currently accepted. However, to broaden our services to families, Verbl is proud to be an approved provider of the Step Up For Students Scholarship. Step Up for Students is a non-profit organization that awards scholarships to students who meet specific criteria. These scholarships can be utilized for various purposes, including covering the cost of therapies. To learn more about the eligibility requirements, please visit their website.
Teletherapy
Accessing in-person therapy can be challenging, which is why teletherapy services are offered in the states of FL, WA, OR, TX, and CA. With tele-therapy services, you can attend sessions from the comfort of your own home, eliminating the need for travel or scheduling conflicts. Sessions are conducted over zoom, ensuring that you receive the same level of personalized attention and care as you would in person. Verbl is proud to offer this convenient and effective option to those who need it.
In-person services
Verbl offers speech therapy services in a location that suits you best - whether it's at home, the playground, or library. The following cities in FL are currently covered: Wimauma, Sun City, Apollo Beach, Riverview and Brandon.
